Nathan Gourley and Laura Feddersen are two of America’s most highly regarded young players of traditional Irish music. Their playing is steeped in lifelong study of the Irish tradition, and is at same time colored by their American roots.

The pair have developed a unique style of twin fiddling, sometimes playing in taut unison, sometimes exploring chordal harmonies and rhythmic and melodic variations. Nathan adds tastefully intricate chords and driving rhythm on guitar. The duo live in Boston, Massachusetts.

Accompanying Nathan and Laura is Brian Miller - Guitar, Bouzouki,

Brian Miller’s intricate yet driving guitar style has made him a sought-after guitar accompanist in the North American Irish music scene. Also a flute, whistle, bouzouki player, singer and researcher, he co-founded the Traditional Singers Club of the Twin Cities. Brian has performed across North America and in Ireland with various groups including Bua, Chulrua with Paddy O’Brien, the Two Tap Trio and Laura MacKenzie." target="_blank">

Alison Perkins and Nicolas Brown are one of the brightest Irish music duos in America.  They have been playing music on the fiddle, uilleann pipes, and flute together for close to a decade.  Since the recent release of their debut album, All Covered With Moss, they have been bringing their close musical partnership to the stage.  For more about Alison and Nicholas, see their website." target="_blank">

Eileen Gannon and Eimear Arkins have been lighting up the Irish music scene in St. Louis for the past several years.

Eileen, a St. Louis native, is one of the top Irish harp players in the world. She has won numerous accolades including the highly coveted Senior Harp title at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (World Irish Music Championships). She has a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from St. Louis University and a master’s degree in Ethnomusicology from University of Limerick. In summer 2017, Eileen launched her debut solo CD, The Glory Days Are Over.   

Eimear is an award-winning singer and fiddle player from County Clare with eleven solo Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann titles to her credit. She has performed throughout the US and Ireland with acclaimed bands like Cherish The Ladies, Téada, The Paul Brock Band, Brú Ború and The Nashville Celts. She has toured extensively with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann in Ireland, Britain, North America and Canada. Eimear’s debut album, What’s Next? was released early summer 2018.

Two of the most acclaimed young musicians in Irish music, today, Finn Magill and Dave Curley will perform a house concert in Indianapolis.

Dave Curley is one of Ireland’s leading multi-instrumentalists, vocalists and a champion step dancer. Hailing from Co. Galway on the west coast of Ireland, Curley has brought his wealth of talents to the largest of stages in North America and Western Europe. He has performed at the prestigious Ryman auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, recorded with Grammy award winners Ron Block, Jeff Taylor and Buddy Greene and toured with Grammy award winners Moya Brennan of Clannad and Ross Holmes of Mumford and Sons. Multi-instrumentalist, All-Ireland fiddle finalist and recording artist

Andrew "Finn" Magill has carved out a name for himself in Irish, American and Brazilian music, collaborating with everyone from Rising Appalachia to John Doyle. He has toured five continents and self-released four albums in everything from traditional Irish music to African fusion. Curley & Magill bring together a wealth of genres and instruments into this exciting new musical collaboration of Irish tunes and songs.

Echoes of Erin Comes to Indy!

The Irish Arts Academy of Indianapolis is bringing the Comhaltas Concert Tour, Echoes of Erin, to Indy! 


The Echoes of Erin tours provide a fantastic showcase for all that is best in Irish traditional music, song, and dance. These top class performers, in all fields, display the highest standards and regional styles that have become synonymous with these events down through the years. They have already thrilled audiences throughout the length and breadth of Ireland during their tour earlier this year.


The performance will be on October 19th at the Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy at 8:00 pm. Adults: $20. Children 15 and under: $12. Tickets can be purchased online at our webstore
